I have a mySky. Works great, just as the advertising says...however, like a lot of mySky owners I have never been able to get a GPS fix But as I live in Melbourne I just select Melbourne from the menu and it is good enough.

I believe the SkyScount has been updated to allow it to connect to a Celestron scope and move it to the object located. The mySky can do this with a Meade scope, but I have a Celestron.

Unfortunately neither of them will make it easy to make a "goto" by mountng to a scope. They both have a locate function that will allow you to select an object, say M42, from a list. On the mySky an arrow appears on the screen that points you in the direction to move. As you get closer, the arrow gets shorter and finally turns to a circle when you have located the target. SkyScout has a similar function.

I use mine quite a lot a public viewings while we are waiting for it to get dark, or if we get clouded out you can still demonstrate it to people. Everyone I have shown mine to are blown away by it.

If you get a mySky make sure you update the software to at least 1.2tc (current version) othewise is wont work in 2008, but it worked last year! Mine came with 1.2q
