Finally got some clear skies so spent 80 minutes on the Tarantula. I found the processing very difficult as i am still not sure what i am doing

Scope, TV85 with 0.8 reducer
Filters, Astronomic UHC, BAADER UV/IR
Mount, EQ6
Guiding, PHD
Camera, EOS 400D unmodded
Lights, 20 by 4 minutes
Darks, 7 by 4 minutes
Processing, DSS stacked in 4 batches of 5
Photoshop, Levels, Curves, then Unsharp
Neatimage
Then cropped and reduced/compressed in irfanview
