The price of petrol

Well...from what I've been told Queensland has traditionally enjoyed lower petrol prices than the southern states.

I certainly noticed a difference when I moved here from Canberra. A difference of about 30 cents a litre, in fact.

There's a bit of noise being made now about the fact it's possibly going to hit $1.50 a litre by the end of the month here.

I filled up the other day with it at $1.43.

It made me wonder what you guys down south are paying for petrol at the moment???

I know it varies...but what's the median price?
