Hi all, here is one of the Flame Nebula in Ha taken on Boxing day.
The details are
LX200R 12" in Alt/Az
DSI II Pro with f/3.3 FR and 13nm Ha filter
Taken using Envisage and minimal processing with MaximDL
50 x 30 second subs
To me it seems a bit soft even though my focussing looked good, I think that because of the warm night working on the mirror and camera it may have been working against me.
Still after so much cloud I'm pretty happy just to capture something.
