Thanks for that. I haven't got a planisphere, but one was supposed to come with the telescope, and we're soon to sort that out
I've been playing around with the photos I tried to take last night with my crappy little point-and-click digital camera held up (by hand) to the eyepiece
Budget doesn't begin to describe it. Despite that, I managed to get a couple of pics that looked somewhat like what I saw.
