The truly frightening part is that this is all pretty much normal for this time of year, according to the Weather Bureau stats.

As you can see, Brisbane is meant to only average about 4 clear days per month for Jan and Feb. Around 6 for Dec.

I'm not sure we enjoyed even 6 clear days this month...but it's certainly not a good time of year for astro pursuits.

Looks like it should improve noticeably from late Autumn and through Winter.

So much for 'beautiful one day...perfect the next'!
