My wife and I sat out for 25 minutes last night, right on the peak. We were told the geminids could show 100 meteors and hour or so.
In 25 minutes we saw ONE.....
Every time I have taken the time and effort to watch a meteor shower on advice from those who are supposed to be in the know, I have been extremely disappointed.
In future I think that unless someone rings me up and says "go have a look outside, the sky is on fire" I think Ill stay in and watch anothere episode of stargate...
