It so nice to see such a great setup as in the Bardon Ridge Observatory. Its obvious that Peter has the knowledge to put such a sophisticated system together but also the talent to take the type of photos we all aspire to. If we manage to take something that we are proud of with our equipment then all credit to us. If that stacks up as being the best we can do with what we have, then we should be pleased. Peter and his ilk lead the way but $ for $ he is easily outperforming large observatories of 10 yr ago. As amateurs all we have to do is wait and just compare what we can do now with what we can do in the furture. Look back 10 years ago and we would never have dreamed of the affordability and electronic integration that is now affordable to entry level amateurs.
