Observing our star this morning

Took the 10" dob, EQ platform, eyepieces and laptop+ToUcam out onto the driveway this morning for some solar observing with my homemade whitelight solar filter.

There's 4 distinct sunspot regions to observe.. AR775 and 776 are close to the Western Limb, and AR779 in the middle southern area of the disk could be made up of two regions, I think it's classified as one. Lots of detail present, a nice time to view the sun. The ones near the limb really look great.

I took some AVI and will post the results when I get a chance to process them.
