i agree thats pretty lame if you can't tune your git by ear, or at least be able to recognise when its out of tune, and tweak it while playing, you aint actually a 'guitarist' till you can IMO - mind you i still like to start with perfect concert from a digital tuner for conveniance and speed, which is certainly not new technology now, and key of A tuning forks held to bridge before that worked dreamily, and still do,
...what do want another device that actually plays the darn thing for ya? LOOOL
if the git could go to the shops for you to buy another set of strings, then put them on after taking the old ones off, i would be more impressed.
