The unit was mounted to an Astro-Physics 180EDT refractor. The control box has been attached to the mounting bracket, but can be readily detached. The brackets for mounting these things are simply, folded sheet metal. Making a bracket to mount to any telescope should be pretty easy. The brass coupling supplied with this unit is drilled with a 1/4" bore, this coupling can also be readily made. Or yes, you can buy couplings and brackets prefolded and drilled to suit the application.
