The new format won’t really change anything for my approach to the competition, so from that perspective, I am happy to follow whatever procedure is adopted.
I guess its more admin work, but if that’s cool, then it’s cool.
On a personal level, by far the greatest benefit I get is the stimulation to (try to) get out each month with a fresh topic in mind, and give it a go, as well as seeing how others have interpreted the theme. If my main impetus was to win, I’d have given up a long, long time ago!
