While I like Televue gear, 10% off horribly expensive is still horribly expensive (in the context of my budget).
I recently read interferometric tests of a TV102 and Synta ED100. Mechanically there's no comparison but the objectives were of very similar quality in each. The ed100 had better blue correction; the TV102 had better red correction; spherical correction was slightly better on the TV but it also had a slight zone; they both had a strehl ratio of 0.95.
