I got up early this morning to image Jupiter, another target I hadn't tackled with the ToUcam yet.
He was getting nice and high, seeing was pretty good, much better than the night before when I did the moon.
I started taking a few avi's, wondering why it was so blue, and forgot I had the IR filter in, so I took that out and started imaging again and wondered why it was going dim and dull in the preview screen. I looked up and saw the morning clouds heading from the south.
So unfortunately I only ended up with 2 x 10s avi's of jupiter, and I processed these in greyscale because I didn't like the blue colour from the IR filter (I gotta return that thing).
Anyway here's a stack of about 40 frames with wavelets processed in registax 3.
Looking forward to tackling him again next time, hopefully i'll be able to get more frames and I might even look up when the GRS is transitting and try and capture it too.
