Tarantula Nebula NGC 2070 - Close up

Hello all,

Here's a shot I did recently of the Tarantula.

It's a 75-minute exposure (25 x 3-min subs) with my modified 300D @ ISO200 autoguided on my G-11 mounted GSO 12" f/5 'scope.

This image is only the central region of a wider-field image. I cropped the central region of the original image to produce this close up image which is 75% of its original size (well on the link below it is 75%, but the attached image is less than that..).

There is a better look at the image here http://www.skylab.com.au/pmsa/NGC2070.html

seasons greetings
Paul

PS.
Santa came early this year with a brand new William Optics 110mm f/5.95 APO refractor and a 0.8x Field Flattener/reducer.
