Last night (Tuesday 21) was clear early in the evening while still twilight. I had a hankering to see if any satellites would be passing over. I logged into Heavens Above, just after 8:30 PM, to find that the ISS would be passing over - about now!
Went out onto my front balcony and there it was. Watched it for several minutes until it disappeared into Earth shadow about 10 degress above my NW horizon; the whole time wondering what the space travellers aboard were doing?
Brilliant!
