Sorry Paul forgot that .....after you hit GOTO to go to the second star it will do a GPS fix , after that it will continue with the GOTO command and you continue with the procedure..easy.
There is another method that involves gotoing between the pole star and another and adjusting the mount as you go , i tried it once with not much luck , having a bright star like polaris would help .More info on this method can be found here....
