No problem. Bear in mind as well most F/R's need a very specific distance between the rear of the F/R and the imaging surface/chip. Get that part sorted first, then try it.
Maybe you can try it in a refractor, trying it during daylight. Focus the CCD without the reducer, and then with. Measure how much "in" difference it creates, and work out whether you can afford this or want it. Me personally, I would forget it, and get a shorter focal length scope. But it can be done.
