In the summer it was still evening twilight right up to around 11:00pm with dawn twilight appearing around 3:00am. Winter was just clouds – low, miserable grey clouds with the odd clear night arriving with temps at -12°C, so in my case, I really don’t think that I can complain – just yet!

Yeap as soon as there something extra special to view you can expect total cloud cover!! and when new gear arrives you might as well stay in bed! I was lucky to get a quick glimpse of comet Holmes through the clouds but has been c*** since..
