Are you a physicist btw? Forgive me for asking - genuine question no sarcasm. You seem to have offered some great information.
If what your saying is right then shouldn't we (one day) be able to manufacture our own nanotubes with similar properties to these "buckyballs" and harvest from space and not necessarily require to mine from the moon?
