I have been sorting out some stuff with my portable setup tonight. In the mean time I took some shots on the LX.
Nothing worth replies for - but fun to take. Quite pleased that even in 4 minute exposures I didn't have any RA drift (PEC seems to haved removed all traces for this RA/DEC & pixel size combination!), but I did have DEC drift in 4 minute shots so stuck with 2 min. Must tweak the polar alignment a little, it's sitting at about 7 arcmins off.

(the resized image has come up wacky - click it to see the proper deal). I processed it on my obs computer so levels might be a bit off. oh well!
oh, looks like I need to recharge the desiccant plug too! Had fogging issues. S'pose it's about time - haven't done it for over a year I think.
Mag 17.96 galaxy in 2 minute exposures ... ohhh yeah
