I made a jig to hold the laser collimater, then I used a block in the moddle of the pad and made sure it was level in all directions with a spirit level, I lined the laser beam on one side then rotated the laser collimater in all directions adjusting the boxing to the hight required, I then checked with a string line and level and it aggreed with the laser so I cosidered that it is level
I did not use the collimater part, only the laser beam
