Ok so I've been putting this one into the tooooo hard basket. I couldn't get the colour and gradients right, couldn't get the curves and levels right. But today I was bored and thought why not give it another go. Still not very happy with it but at least if I post it I will stop playing with it. It's done for the season now. I can move onto other things
It's a little bit like wet concrete; if you keep playing with it sooner or later you are going to really stuff it up

5/240sec @ f/2.8 135mm L @ ISO800. Dark subtracted and processed in IP. Finishing off with curves, levels and all sorts of other "stuff" in PS. The exposure was way too long for M42 but it did bring out the Horsie. Next time I might try a HDR like Bert.
