Neither do I
Basically, if when I came back onto the site after 15 minutes or so the main index would show new posts but when I click on the view new posts link I'd get Sorry no new posts yadda yadda.
Don't seem to have that problem now with the new forum setup. Though if I've viewed all the new posts, when I come back to the main index it shows them as still unread until I click on "Mark Forums Read"
