I'm back after a time of inactivity. I finally have in my possesion my new 8" GS-680 Dobsonian. It seems that everytime someone buys a new telescope in this town the clouds and rain set in and stay in. "Wouldn't it be great if this could work in NSW!"
It is School holidays here in Tas so I am also preoccupied with childcare activities and to cap it all off I graded to a green belt in my Karate Club last night.
Anyway despite the fact that the unit hasn't yet made it outside I post some pictures of the telescope nad myself for your viewing enjoyment.
