visually observe with your left or right eye (or both) but another point to discover is:
Are you a squinter or an open eye observer with your other eye?
When looking with your favoured eye, what do you do with the other eye? Do you leave it open (maybe with an eyepatch) or do you squint it up?
I am a squinter. Always have been and I find it hard and uncomfortable to leave the other eye open, covered or uncovered.
