Being a harden Union supporter, I do understand where your coming from.
Long gone are the days when you would run down the field with a ball in
one hand and a fist in the other, when a coat hanger was apart of the
game. It's changed a lot from those days with added rules which are
generally put there for the safety of the players.
In the end I have to say I'm pleased the Boks won, yeah yeah yeah I know
I upped nightstalker for thinking of them. In the end I just didn't want
the poms to win. They've played crap rugby over the last 4 years since
winning the cup in 2003. To have them come back and win back to back
cups, just didn't sit right.... you'd never hear the end of it. However
the game itself was a good fight, and the look on Johnny's face was
rewarding : ) he only tried for a couple of drop goals and missed.
The Argentina v France match was a ripper, I watched the replay... I
was a hollaring and a woop woop wooping!!! I would have to say one
of the best matches of the cup.
