Been following this thread with interest...
Has anyone tried the 96mm GSO crayford refractor unit?
It looks quite chunky on the GSO website...

If it is on a par with the units on their Dobs then it might be the good middle ground at $149 for a chap on a budget, like wot I am!
They also list an 8x50 finder bracket for this focuser - can't find it on the Andrews website though.
