I had a good X, or more of a cross/plus sign during the xcellent '97 ETA's back when I was a real astro bum, i musta mentioned it 300 times by now i spose
its kinda like war stories?
but its worth mentioning still, still one of my favourite meteors ever!
must of been a headon or near head-on that split into 4 pieces from a single point - and all geometrically heading to the four points for equa-lish distances, and all four left an eerie 5 minute or so lasting glowing purple trails, i seen some good triples for sure but this was definately the X factor!!
