I went up to the Murray on the weekend and spent a few hours crawling in the grass
.. trying to get some good shots of these beautiful little birds.
They were hiding in the long bamboo that was growing beside the river. I experimented with different focal lengths and f.ratios. These were the best female and male shots. Both at 300mm and F5.6.
