Storage Case For Tak 102 Or Similar
I have a nice self-built hardwood timber storage case, built by me specifically for a Takahashi FC100 and then more latterly converted (ever so slightly) to accept the TSA102N. It is made from Rimu, a NZ native timber, and is simply oiled. It has felt inside where required. Storage from the scope of course, but also it has slots for a Denkmeier bino-viewer, and eyepieces galore, plus other nic-nacks, diagonals etc.
It measures roughly 900x300x250, but I can measure it accurately if necessary.
Additionally in the lower middle section, under the OTA tube, there is a compartment which houses a solar filter, and this is a Baader white light solar filter, with a Rimu frame, again made by me.
The buyer of my TSA102 didn't want the case, and it is sitting redundant apart from being an excellent storage facility for eyepieces, bino-viewer etc.
It may not be cost effective to ship it to Oz, but at least we can look at that. Any one out there with a 102 Tak that needs a very nice case and solar filter?
I can arrange some images if required, and we can discuss a price.
