Hi all again..

Its been rather clear up here lately although a bit smokey. Have imaged something nearly every night so lots of late nights for me,,well midnight is late to me these days..

with the kids waking us up at first light..

Anyways heres my attempt at the Helix planetary neb with my 6" newt from the night before..Seeing was average but no cloud just smoke.
image is 25 x 3 min at iso 1600 with my canon 300d.
Stars are not quiet round and there was a lot of noise to remove due to it being rather warm and using iso 1600. Have been experimenting iso 1600 with mixed results..
I am quiet happy with the final image and is much better than other goes in the past...
