Thanks all. It is indeed an odd object and quite amazing its been overlooked for the Revised New General Catalogue. It is in Star Atlas pro, and also the Argo Navis internal catalogue under the alternative name Heinz 2-119.
Think we are in for a long hot summer with hot weather here so soon. Cooled DSLRs will do well
