Thanks Stuart for the tips, I think that I should be right in terms of polar alignment as my previous scope was a German equatorial with a three piece 70kg mount. I used that for astrophotgraphy also and am familiar with the process, but it is slightly different with a fork mount.
BTW how many posts have you made today? This morning you had 282. Now you are equal with me. Looking for the top job ah. See I slow down and there you go.
