This is exactly the situation I'm in. I'm just doing some testing today with MaxPoint and moving my scope to work out what's going on, as strange stuff seemed to be happening last time I used the setup (first time with MaxPoint).
I now have realised that via TheSky's telescope motion controls through ASCOM: Jog works fine, but Move does nothing.
It'd be nice if someone had a solution to this, but I'm guessing it is a deficiency in TheSky's support of ASCOM.
Anyone got helpful advice?
I'm evaluating MaxPoint at the moment, not wanting to go to TPoint at twice the price and away from ASCOM.
