I've finally got around to reprocessing my eclipse montage. Attached are two versions. My original composite was assembled by stacking and masking, which is fiddly and you have to be a bit careful to be accurate on each image of the moon.
These ones I assembled using the
Apply Image command and selecting
Lighten as the blending mode. Much quicker and gives a better result I think!
Done in PS CS3, of course! No other processing other than save for the web.
