Hi all,

Just an update on the public guest lecture series our society are running. There has been a reshuffle of the scheduling to work around our injured lecturer to give him a chance to talk later in the semester.

We have Professor Brian Schmidt speaking for us next. He will be giving his talk on Thursday, 4th October, 5:30pm to 6:30pm. This will be held in the Arthur Hambley Lecture Theatres, CHEM T1, building 34. Professor Schmidt's talk is titled "The Universe From Beginning to End". Apologies to everyone who thought it was going to be held this Wednesday, but we had to change this again due to scheduling problems. I'm very sorry about this!

This is a free public lecture. Refreshments (tea, coffee, juice and cake) will be served at 5:15pm.

For full details on any of these talks, please visit the above link (see previous post).

I hope to see some Ice in Spacers there

Cheers,
