I cheated a bit, and loaded up Cartes de Ciels onto the laptop then copied the lot to my portable HDD. I then plugged that into my work PC, and ran the EXE file and the software is working fine - even loaded up the latest comet elements.
At last I can run something without worrying about loading onto the work PC - therefore the IT nasty people will leave me alone
