Realistically though, the Sun lining up with the centre of the universe is like an ant getting in the way of a truck 1000km away - what the hell difference will it make? I love the idea of the astronomical precision of the Mayan calander, but it was devised by a group with a world view far removed from what we know today - like Christianity...Oh crap I'll get this thread shut down with talk like that, big brother n'all that!!
