I am a new member!!!
At first I have to say I don't speak as well as write very good English.
But I try to understand you. In addition I hope I become better in English.
Well, I look forward to nice talks.
Secondly I want to present me.
I'm just 15 years old and of course I am still a pupil.I'm from Germany.There I live in the Black Forest.For 5 years I already observe the sky with my telescopes.(The Black Forest night sky is great, i think)
But how does the Australian sky look like?At any time I want to see your sky in the southern hemisphere.But I like the German sky, too.
My first telescope was a cheap refractor with a 3 inch lens.With it I have looked the first time to the moon.It was incredible.After this litter refractor it followed some other telescopes.Today I have a 8 inch dobsonian and a 3,5 inch refractor.I am very pleased with them.Besides I have a lot of other stuff like a webcam for taking photos of planets,moon and sun.
In future I want to mount the 8 inch telescope on a equatorial mounting.
But i am still broke, so it remains a dream
.
I love Astro Imaging and Upgrading my telescopes.
