We took some great photos of a twig last night
I bought a bt252 some time back, and then noticed the DSI Pro going for 310 bucks with filters and decided to pick that up at such a good price.
I'll point it at the moon, planets, hell I'll even give some nebula a go and just see what happens.

If you want to use the DSI with a Dob then yes you will need to either get a low profile focuser, move your mirror further up the tube  or try using the lens off a barlow attached to the end of the DSI (though that will increase you magnification at the same time).
