Eclipse from Winmalee

Perfect night up here in the Lower Blue Mountains, I wore a short sleeve shirt as the weather was so mild. Took these pics through my ED80 and 400D ( prime focus, uncropped). A pity they don't capture the true beauty of the event but they will bring back memories when I'm old, old. Viewing the Moon in the ED80 with a 26mm EP/70 degree field (23X) was simply stunning and to see pin point stars surrounding the Moon was an added bonus. I saw at least three occultations and as yet have to find out the star names. It is surprising how fast the Moon moved in relation to the background stars.
