Hi Wranglr.

No, there'll be nothing special about tonights moon. It will be just past full and rising about an hour later than last night.

A lunar eclipse (of any kind) can only happen during a full moon -full moon was last night. A partial eclipse is when only part of the moon enters the deep part of the Earth's shadow (the umbra). Last night, all of the moon entered that part of the shadow - that's why it was a total lunar eclipse.

Whether it's a total or partial is just dependant on the alignment of the moon and the earth's shadow during each full moon.
