I think this is basically the "Off Topic" forum, but I'm not sure. If not, mods feel free to delete this or put it in the appropriate place.

Anyways, I know there has to be some car guys here, or some physics guys here...so I have a question.

If you're sliding around a corner, do you want wheel spin in the corner so the RPM's stay up coming out of the corner? Then coming out the traction picks up & you're already in the high RPM's allowing the car to hit the powerband coming out of the turn & "pick up" (engine) in the start or middle of the back stretch instead of hitting it going into turn 3?
