Someone here in Perth has one of the Orion scopes, an 8", and he's quite happy with it. I haven't heard any complaints from him about problems with it and while I haven't looked closely at how it works once I was standing next to him and gave him a NGC object to check out, he punched it in, pushed over to it and had it in a few seconds. Definitely doesn't track, though, it is a 'push-to' as the others have said.
