Hey all,
got some colour down last night on my previously posted Helix lum image.
Well, it wasn't a great night for seeing, transparency was just ok.
I missed a corker of a night on Sunday.. can't blame no one but myself... damn....

Could have done with even more colour data, plus adding Ha would have cleaned up the central nebulosity, but doing 135 mins of colour I thought would have to do + the previous 130min lum.
Never an easy object that's for sure, especially when conditions don't cooperate.
Perhaps a little on the crunchy side, but I did some selective denoising, but didn't want to clean it up too much around the neb and take away the contrast.. this is where the Ha data would have come in very handy....
Maybe I will get some down this week weather permitting.
