Thanks Gary I hsould have removed the noise the first tme but I processed at night when the noise is less obvious

Hi Scott, my subs these days are 10min mostly. I will ue longer exposures once I feel I am out of the testing phase. Using the same exposure length just helps with callibration as I can use all the same callibration frames each time...lazy

Yep I'm on dial up too and sometimes I just can't be bothered to wait for an image to download if someone posts it too large and I usually say to myself I'll come back to that and often never do . I think 500K - 1meg is sufficiently large for most images to still show enough detail and not be so big that dial up folk don't give up
