I have a copy of T. Cooke & Sons' 1900, Illistrated Catalogue of Astronomical Instruments, etc.
Have a look at the 6" refractor and mounting, full price with the fixed equatorial mount as illistrated.....500 pounds.
A 10 foot dome.....135 pounds.
