Hi all, here is a Ha image of the Tarantula Nebula from last night, It started off clear and then quickly become dense cloud and foiled any attempt at more data.
This image consist of the best 39 subs at 21.2 seconds each and combined in MaximDL. This was another test image to put into practice some handy tips from Jase (thanks
) and it all seemed to be going well until the clouds showed up. It is not the greatest of images but the stars didn't go "blobby" which was the main aim and the faint Nebula is starting to show up. Oh for another 100 subs.
The Tarantula is probably too low for me to seriously image until later in the year but all looks good for other targets.
