Very easy to turn to a page that is marked as - say good for July evenings - and there are galaxies in red, nebulae in green, and clusters in yellow I like the index, which is broken into stars, clusters, galaxies etc. Then there is all the Messiers and theCaldwell catalogue.
What do you people think of it?? Jolly good value for $39 I reckon
I agree - it's very well designed. Spiral backed, got that satin "waterproof" feel to it, I love the touches like the telrad circles on the overlapped jacket, etc. I'm going to pick up a second one just for the bookshelves!

I took it out with my binos last week and spent a couple of hours between Ara and Sag. hunting stuff down. Very nice.
